White Card General Construction Induction

CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry (White Card).
(Former Blue Card)

The Blue Card (30215QLD course in General Safety Induction) expired on 30th June 2009 and has been replaced by the new national unit of competency - CPCCOHS1001A Work safely in the construction industry. As of 1 July 2009, only the CPCCOHS1001A will meet the regulatory requirements for construction induction training in Queensland. This also means that, from 1 July 2009 Queensland will have a new look construction induction card. The new card (White Card) is similar to the existing Blue Card but is in the new nationally agreed format.

Note: Any person who holds an existing Blue Card is not required to undertake further training or replace their Blue Cards as they will continue to be valid and recognised in Queensland and other states and territories. This is unless companies make their own site or company specific rules which may state that persons must hold a current White Card.
