13 November 2008 3.47pm Construction Skills Queensland hosted the Be Constructive® Careers Expo, held on 5-6 September 2008 and Koolat Safety was one of the major sponsors of this event along with Bovis Lend Lease. The expo was held at Robina Town Centre, and over 2000 attendees, mostly high school students from local high schools, attending the expo had the exciting opportunity to view the building of the new retail facilities through specially built viewing panels, as well as having the opportunity to get hands-on experience in many different trades through Try'a Trade®
The Expo provided the general public and construction industry workers with information about careers in the construction industry, as well as training, recruitment and funding.
