To complete this course participants MUST be advanced scaffolders or advanced riggers. 30826QLD Course in the safe use of swing stage scaffolds: This course is designed to assist in the safe use of swing stage scaffolds. Target group include maintenance personnel, painters, window cleaners and personnel required to carry out their work within the confines of a swing stage scaffold. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment: TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment:This course will be delivered by Training Australia Unlimited. Koolat Safety in conjuction with Training Australia Unlimited will be offering this course at its Helensvale Industry Skills Centre in the New Year. Dec 2009 Construction Professional of the Year Award: Koolat Safety was a finalist at the Construction Skills Queensland Excellence Awards 2009 for Private RTO of the Year and one of its employees, Mr George Elliott, was a finalist for the Trainer of the Year Award. Koolat Safety's CEO, Mr Craig Eiszele, was awarded the inaugral Construction Professional of the Year Award. The gala evening was held at the Brisbane Convention Centre on November 27th 2009 and was attended by 1000 individuals from the construction industry. Brett Schimming, CSQ CEO, Paula Baker, Koolat Safety National Accounts Manager, Craig Eiszele, CEO Koolat Safety and Robert Row, Civil Contractors Federation. Nov 2009 Koolat Safety has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Sribima Maritime Training Centre (SMTC) from Miri in Sarawak, East Malaysia. The Agreement is for the supply of trainers for offshore crane operations as well as their lifting and slinging courses. SMTC conduct training for Shell Asia Pacific and Petronas.
