SUMMER SCHOOL 2010
WEEKEND DOGGERS COURSE OPEN MOBILE & TOWER CRANE COURSE ON THE GOLD COAST

Koolat Safety will be conducting a Doggers Course over two weekends. The dates are the weekends of the 9th & 10th and 16th & 17th January 2010. This follows on from our highly successful Interemediate Riggers Course conducted over two weekends late in 2009. We also have a free referral service for linking students with potential employers.
Another Tower Crane Course is being conducted from the 25th - 29th January 2010.
An Open Mobile Slewing Crane Course will be held from the 18th - 22nd January 2010.
Koolat Safety will close on Wednesday the 23rd December and will reopen on Monday the 4th January 2010. We take this opportunity to wish all our students, past and present, a safe and enjoyable holiday season.
Ring during the break, leave a message and we will return your call to enrol you in the summer school.

CERTIFICATE IV IN OH&S
Koolat Safety now delivers the qualification that all WHSOs may need in the future. Koolat Safety only delivers Units of Competency from National Training Packages, and as the WHSO ticket is only recognised in Qld, it is highly expected that this will be the equivalent qualification to replace it nationally. If you have experience as a WHSO and can supply the necessary evidence, we can do an RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) assessment for you. We are the construction industry Cert IV OHS experts, so call us for more details of this qualification.

CERT IV IN TRAINING & ASSESSMENT
Koolat Safety in conjunction with Training Australia Unlimited, now offer the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. This is the minimum qualification that is required to become a trainer/assessor with an RTO.

 IS YOUR COMPANY COMPLIANT
Koolat Safety continually comes across situations where   formal training has not   taken   place before the theory and practical assessments. We also come across   situations of   inappropriate assessments where your company's staff are required to sign false references that your company has conducted formal training for High Risk Work licences. Senior Management should enquire as to what formal training is being signed off for under their company's name. The Company Training Manager should be aware of all formal training that is being conducted legitimately and signed of as being conducted by their own company.
