Course Objectives
Through the combination of theory and practical training, this course provides participants with the necessary knowledge and skills required to safely operate a Self Erecting Tower Cranes.
Course Prerequisites
Current licenced crane operators requiring CT & CS licences may be able to apply for RPL. References and logbook hours must be produced for the type of crane on which you require to have your prior learning recognised.
All intending crane operators should hold a dogger's licence prior to attempting any crane licence.
- Participants are advised to hold intermediate numeracy, literacy and communication skills to read and comprehend written instructions and must be at least 18 years of age.
- Students are to wear closed in shoes (steel caps)
- Your completed log book (80 hours on-the-job training) and training plan signed by a Licenced Self Erecting Tower Crane Operator
- Students must bring photo identification (such as a passport or drivers licence) to register for this course.
